My daughter has absolutely flourished at Dance Express Performing Arts Center. From her first class five years ago, the teachers made her feel welcomed and encouraged. My daughter was so nervous to join her first class, but her teacher made her feel safe and confident in their space, and we have loved every moment since. The studio creates such a positive environment where dancers not only grow in skill, but also in discipline, teamwork, and self-esteem. We even saw a positive shift in her confidence level while reading aloud in school because of the exercises in her Musical Theatre class! We’ve watched her technique improve tremendously, but even more importantly, we’ve seen her develop a true love and passion for dance. Seeing her smile as soon as she enters the building means the world to me because I know she loves her teachers and her teammates so very much. The teachers genuinely care about each student, and it shows in everything they do. The studio owner and teachers are very communicative throughout the year, and love to incorporate popular themes into their dance classes. I love that they provide instruction in various dance styles; allowing the students the opportunity to explore their interests and gain new dance knowledge. We have gained a community within Dance Express, and we will never forget the love, care, and friendship we’ve shared with the teachers and families. We are so grateful to be part of this amazing dance family!

My daughter, Hannah, has loved dancing since the moment she could walk and has always wanted dance to be a permanent part of her life journey and career aspirations. At her previous studio, the focus for dance competitions was on winning trophies by having an excessive number of props and dazzling costumes- not with technique or the advancement of skills. Hannah recently joined Dance Express Performing Arts Center with the desire to build herself as a complete and well-rounded dancer because the coaches take exceptional care in working with dancers as a whole to solidify current techniques, grow their skills, and develop the dancer through positivity, encouragement, and appropriate challenge. In 10 months, Hannah has made tremendous progress overall, but especially with her leaps and turns, has advanced to pointe in ballet, and developed new skills through the acro program. It has been refreshing to witness my daughter being seen for the dancer she is and the dancer she strives to be. We are beyond thankful for the home and family we have found with Dance Express Performing Arts Center and all of its dancers’ families.

Dance Express pairs excellent training with a caring, nurturing environment that helps build both skills and confidence. Even better it’s a place where friendships are formed.
